HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Reporting to the Service Desk Manager but working closely with the Product and Technical teams, the Product Integration Specialist is responsible for managing the integration of SmartSearch directly with clients and third party software providers and providing Technical support for users of the SmartSearch platform.
VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- The day to day management of integrations directly with clients or into third party software providers, including:
- Ensuring Non-Disclosure and Trial Services Agreements are in place where necessary
- Set up on Sandbox environment to give access to documentation
- Issuing of credentials to technical teams
- Working closely with technical teams to trouble shoot and resolve any problems as they arise
- Ensuring the company CRM system is kept up to date with the progress being made on all integrations and reporting on a monthly basis to the Service Delivery Manager on the status of ongoing projects
- Working closely with Client Services where third party software providers have been identified as potential integration targets
- Joining the Sales team on calls where technical input is required with regards integration
- Proactively marketing to third party software providers where SmartSearch have clients or prospects using the third party’s system
- Being the first line support contact for Platform Support tickets, providing technical advice to end users and raising tickets for the Development and Product teams.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?
- A good understanding of RESTful API technology
- Ability to troubleshoot problems using a logical thought process and/or tools such as Postman
- Firm grasp of development planning
- Have an understanding of development technologies and methodologies
- An understanding of UX/UI design
- The ability to manage workloads efficiently, proactively and independently
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Strong Customer Service focus with the ability to listen and communicate at all levels both written and verbal
