HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager and working closely with our Product and Technical teams, the Application Support and Integration Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support for the SmartSearch application and supporting our clients with integrations from our application into their systems using our RESTful API suite.

VARIED DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day support for the SmartSearch Application
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application related issues reported by our clients or system alerts, ensuring minimal downtime and service disruption
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, gathering detailed information to help resolve incidents efficiently
  • Document and track all incidents, problems, and resolutions in our ticketing system
  • Help our clients design, implement, and maintain integrations between their software applications and our application
  • Ensure seamless data flow between systems by providing guidance in designing and configuring API-based integrations
  • Participate in incident management processes, ensuring that service disruptions are handled efficiently and effectively
  • Manage problem tickets and work with technical teams to resolve recurring or complex application issues
  • Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

  • Ability to troubleshoot problems using a logical thought process
  • Proven experience in application support
  • Good understanding of RESTful API’s
  • An understanding of the development lifecycle
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis
  • Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. HaloITSM, Freshdesk, ServiceNow)
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
